One-Day Tours) You will be notified by phone regarding your pick-up time and location approximately one week prior to departure. Cancellations after the full payment date will be subject to full forfeiture or a portion thereof to cover nonrefundable charges such as tickets and other guarantees.

| Cancellation & Refund Policy | |||||

Overnight Tours) You will receive documents by mail approximately two weeks prior to departure. Full refunds will be given for cancellations made 45 days prior to departure. A 20% penalty will be assessed 30-44 days prior to departure; a 40% penalty 14 - 29 days prior, and a 75% penalty 7-13 days prior. Tours cancelled within 7 days prior to departure, or while the tour is in progress, will be subject to full forfeiture. A full refund for the land portion will be made if the vacancy is filled. Refund policies of cruises or tours offered in conjunction with other companies may vary, and will be reflected in their itineraries. Cancellation protection is available and strongly recommended for all overnight trips. If cancellation land and/or air waivers are included in the tour program, that cost is included in the deposit amount and is nonrefundable. Tours involving airline tickets) In addition to the above, any penalties assessed by the airlines is the passenger's responsibility. Tickets are usually issued (in the passenger's name) 30 - 60 days before departure, becoming nontransferable and non-refundable. If canceled, the ticket is forwarded to that passenger. All airlines handle ticket exchanges differently, and usually a fee applies. RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE) The personnel of PACIFIC EXPRESS act solely on behalf of its patrons in arranging for transportation, lodging, sightseeing, meals and other tour services. They are not responsible for any damage, loss, delays, injury, accident, or irregularity which may result from acts and omissions on the part of any company providing services, nor failure to carry out arrangements, nor by reason of defect in any vehicle, nor for misconduct of other parties. In the event it becomes necessary to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made or programs may be withdrawn. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers. Savings, if any, will be refunded to the passengers. PACIFIC EXPRESS expressly reserves the right to withdraw any tour or make changes, with or without notice, that become necessary, including substitution of accommodations or transportation, and also reserves the right to decline, accept or retain, any person as a member of the tour at any time. A tour may be cancelled for insufficient patronage, and a refund of deposits paid will release PACIFIC EXPRESS and personnel from any obligation. |
